Swami Sivachidananda Saraswati initiated by Swami Sivananda Saraswati, Founder The Divine life Society, Rishikesh in 1958 and Sanyas dikhya from Swami Chidananda Saraswati in 1983 established Sivananda Centenary Boys’ School, Khandagiri in 1984 having motto -"Man making, Nation building and Self-realisation".
In Purbashram he resigned from Lecturership in Sanskrit, Talcher college, Angul in 1977 and renounced the world from 1983. He served tidal wave victims of Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh, building a Sivananda Hall, cyclone shelter offered it to Golalamoda villagers in 1978 in the presence of Sri Atal Bihari Bajpayeeji, MP and Dr. Channa Reddy, CM, A. P. In 1999 he served, on behalf of Divine Life Society, the victims of the super cyclone burying and cremating 470 carcasses and dead bodies and constructing roof of the college, 30 pucca houses in washed away Bhajakhia Villege, one Siva temple in Kuanrvedi and Baladevjew temple in Saravanta, Jagatsinghpur district along with a Masjid in Rajapur, Goda in the same district.
He was General Secretary All Odisha Divine Life Society Central Committee from 1971 to 1976 and General Secretary of Divine Life Society Eastern Zone, Kolkata from 1977 to 1990. He toured all over India three times in 1986, 2000 and 2016 with the holy Padukas of his Guru. He had also Kailash Manasaravar yatra in 1993. He walked from Rishikesh to Badrinath 300 K.M. bare foot on alms in 1964. Recently he made perambulation of Mother Earth from June 20th to 28th Srigundicha to Bahuda visiting Delhi, Toronto , Tokyo, Delhi. He is the initiator and Chairman of COM- Cosmic Oneness Movement for World Peace and tranquility.
